Guitar lessons are open to children and adults of all skill levels. Children at the age of 6 start usually start to develop the finger dexterity and strength required for guitar. For students younger than this, we recommend our Introduction to Ukulele Class. Piano is always an excellent foundation instrument, providing your child with basic musical knowledge that can later be applied to guitar lessons when the student is older.
Brookline Music School is committed to ensuring that students of all ages and abilities have a positive private lesson experience. Students are individually placed with a teacher based on learning style, experience, and musical interests.
Private lesson students also receive the benefit of multiple opportunities to perform in recitals, salons, exclusive departmental events, workshops, and masterclasses.
All students will need an instrument for home practice between lessons.
