Musical Adventures

Age 3-4

In Musical Adventures, students actively participate in activities that provide a strong musical foundation, including singing, chanting, stylized movement, dance, improvisation, and playing percussive instruments. In addition to engaging the class with a rich repertoire of music, movement, and dance, experienced teachers musically interact with students as they guide them through the music learning stages.

Over the year, students will learn about the instruments of the orchestra, dive into Saint-Saens Carnival of the Animals, and travel around the world with multicultural music. These classes are designed for active participation of both adult and child. Please come ready to sing, move, and have fun!

Students must be 3 years old by September 1, 2021 to register for this class.

About

Classes For Young Children

Our Classes For Young Children are based on Music Learning Theory and research on how children learn music. Students are guided through the stages of music learning (acculturation, imitation and assimilation) to provide understanding for a lifelong enjoyment of music and to prepare for formal instruction.

Our staff and faculty are skilled in early childhood music development and are happy to discuss any of these programs with you. Contact us at info@bmsmusic.org
