Private lessons are open to children and adults of all skill levels. Children 7 and up (sometimes 6) are usually ready for strings private instruction. We strongly recommend that students ages 4-6 start with violin in our Suzuki Program. Afterwards, they are welcome to continue with the Suzuki Program or enroll in Private Lessons. Because of it's size, double bass is recommend for students 9 and up
All students will need an instrument for home practice between lessons.
About Private Lessons
Brookline Music School is committed to ensuring that students of all ages and abilities have a positive private lesson experience. Students are individually placed with a teacher based on learning style, experience, and musical interests.
