Private lessons are open to children and adults of all skill levels. Children benefit most from starting lessons on the drum set starting at age 7 (sometimes students are ready at age 6). Students under age 7 that are drawn to drums may also enjoy a Creative Dance Class that includes organizing physical responses to musical cues. Piano is always an excellent foundation instrument, providing your child with basic musical knowledge that can later be applied to percussion lessons when the student is older.
All students will need an instrument for home practice between lessons.Enroll Today
About Private Lessons
Brookline Music School is committed to ensuring that students of all ages and abilities have a positive private lesson experience. Students are individually placed with a teacher based on learning style, experience, and musical interests.
Private lesson students also receive the benefit of multiple opportunities to perform in recitals, salons, exclusive departmental events, workshops, and masterclasses.
Enrollment is open year-round so students may begin private lesson study at any time, including during the summer.
