Experience BMS' instrument petting zoo! Students get assisted introductions to piano, percussion, strings (violin, cello), and winds (recorder, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone/tuba). Spots are filling fast, enroll now!

Sharing Music

Introduce Your Child to the World of Music with Instrument Discovery. Foster your child's love for music by enrolling them in our hands-on Instrument Discovery program, designed for ages 5-6. Through a combination of tonal and rhythm patterns, movement, song, rhythmic chants, and improvisation, children will develop a strong foundation in music. They will also learn the basics of various musical instruments, with each term focusing on different ones.
Are you interested in learning how to play the fiddle? Join the Traditional Fiddle Class at Brookline Music School. Our class offers a fun and collaborative environment to introduce you to various techniques and styles. You'll learn to play fiddle tunes from different musical traditions such as Irish, Scottish, French-Canadian, Scandinavian, Old-Time, and Bluegrass. This welcoming and intergenerational class is open to students aged 10 and up with at least two years of experience playing violin, viola, cello, or bass.

Brookline Music School welcomes students of all ages. Enrollment is open year-round so students may begin private lesson study at any time. Join us!

Regular Hours

Monday to Friday: 9 am to 9 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8 am to 7 pm

Summer Hours

Effective July 1st, 2024

Sunday: CLOSED

Monday to Thursday: 9 am to 8 pm

Friday: 9 am to 5 pm

Saturday: 8 am - 4 pm
