A Workshop Inspired by the Music of Amy Winehouse

Age 13-18

Brookline Music School and Brookline Teen Center present a teen workshop inspired by the music of Amy Winehouse. 

Open to instrumentalists, singers, and rappers, teens of all ages and abilities. 

A great way to spend summer evenings creating music with friends, old and new, culminating in a live concert performance.

Led by BMS faculty members Scott Pittman (percussion and guitar), professional singer-songwriter-keyboardist Jen Kearney (vocals), and Pablo Munoz, the Brookline Teen Center music coordinator, this workshop will explore Winehouse's eclectic mix of musical genres, including soul, rhythm and blues, reggae, and jazz.

Participants will receive a recording of the final performance to be held at the Brookline Teen Center.

A Workshop Inspired by the Music of Amy Winehouse

Rehearsals will be held:

Wednesdays, 7/19, 7/26, 8/2 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm at Brookline Music School
Wednesday, 8/9 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm at Brookline Teen Center

The concert will be held on Thursday, August 10 at 7:00 pm at the Brookline Teen Center.

  • There is a once-yearly non-refundable $45 registration fee per family.
  • There is a $20 fee per term for payment plans.
  • No registration fee is charged for summer study.
