Summer Payment, Withdrawal and Refunds
Payment in full is required at time of registration. There is a $25 withdrawal fee per class until May 12, 2018, after which there will be no refunds for summer programs or classes.
Cancellation of Classes/Ensembles
Brookline Music School reserves the right to cancel any class or ensemble due to insufficient enrollment. Refunds will be issued in the event of a cancelled class.
Absences & Make-up Lessons (Summer Session)
There are no make-ups for classes or ensembles unless the cancellation is due to a teacher absence. For private lessons, excused absences may be made up at a time mutually convenient to the teacher and the student. For lessons scheduled before 2pm, an absence is excused if the office and/or teacher are notified no later than 9:00pm the previous night. For lessons scheduled after 2pm, an absence is excused if the office and/or teacher are notified before 10am on the day of the lesson. Any lesson missed due to teacher absence will be made up or a refund will be issued.
Because of the faculty's full schedules, students who are late for a lesson cannot be guaranteed their full lesson time. Faculty will wait ten minutes for a student, after which it becomes an unexcused absence.
Please notify the office immediately of any injuries which might affect lessons. Partial refunds may be considered in cases of prolonged illness or injury.
Brookline Music School may photograph/videotape lessons, group classes or events for educational purposes, website and publications. If you do not wish your child or yourself to be photographed or videotaped, please check the appropriate box on the registration form, or submit a brief written statement to the office (email@example.com).
