GuitarLab centers on exploring and developing essential skills relevant to all guitarists, from technique to guitar-specific music theory and ear training. Guitarists have the opportunity to workshop solo guitar projects already underway in lessons, and all participants take part in a guitar ensemble.

Guitarists searching for a full day program are encouraged to join EnsembleFest for the afternoon Jazz & Improv Lab.

Summer at Brookline Music School

Summer is a great time to delve deeper in to musical study, or begin exploring a musical instrument. During the summer, scheduling for private lessons and chamber music ensembles is flexible. Additionally, many of our programs offer multiple sessions and options for full-day or half-day making it easy to find a class that fits your schedule.

Brookline Music School is located right off of Route 9 on Kennard Road in Brookline. Most of our summer programs take place at the Kennard House, which is easily accessible by car, public transportation, bike, or by foot.
