This class offers cello students of intermediate and advanced levels the opportunity to explore all things cello within a collegial group setting. This allows for peer input and the chance to explore a particular topic or theme in greater depth than can be covered in weekly private lessons alone. Topics may include how to prepare for auditions (including MMEA junior and senior districts); new ways to approach scale practice; listening to historical cello performances; ensemble playing; and exploring non-classical repertoire styles on the cello. The Spring 2021 monthly Seminar will be held remotely on Zoom.
