Instrument Petting Zoo


11:00am - 1:30pm

Brookline Music School’s Instrument Petting Zoo provides prospective students with an opportunity to sample and explore a wide range of musical instruments in a fun setting. Participants are encouraged to try out as many instruments they like with guidance and demonstrations from Brookline Music School faculty and students. Come try out:

  • Guitar
  • Oboe
  • Piano
  • Saxophone
  • Trombone
  • Trumpet
  • Violin
  • and more!

Join us at Brookline Music School anytime between 11:00am and 1:30pm on Sunday, September 9. The event is free and there is no registration required.

Chamber Music Open House


2:30pm - 4:30pm

Brookline Music School invites students ages 10 through adult to learn more about our Chamber Music Program. Open House activities include:

  • Meet & Greet

  • with BMS chamber music faculty and students
  • Live chamber performance

  • ­
  • Fun playing activity!

  • be sure to bring your instrument

Placement auditions for students new to the program will take place 3:30pm to 4:30pm (individual times scheduled in advance upon RSVP)
