Our newly expanded Chamber Music + Sundays Programs include weekly small-group coaching with BMS chamber music faculty members PLUS a bi-weekly Sunday meeting of large-group chamber classes and workshops, including group performance or instrumental workshops, musicianship topics, special masterclasses, and recitals by BMS chamber musicians and guests. Chamber+ programming will take place on Sundays 12pm-1pm, for all Chamber+ registered participants.
Adult and youth activities will alternate weeks, with two special events on November 13th (Masterclass) and January 15th (What Makes It Great?) that will include adult and youth participants together.
FALL/WINTER SPECIAL EVENTS*
Sunday, November 13th -- Violinist Katherine Winterstein (Concertmaster of Vermont Symphony, Co-concertmaster of Rhode Island Philharmonic and of the Boston Pops Orchestra, member of Boston Modern Orchestra Project) will lead a Chamber Music Masterclass featuring our own select chamber groups. This event is open to Youth Chamber Music + Sundays participants, and Adult Chamber Music + Sundays participants, as well as the public.
Sunday, November 20th -- Adult Chamber Music Reading Party (also open to experienced teen musicians age 16+ and the public)
Sunday, January 15th -- Join us for an interactive "Masterworks Revealed" performance, featuring the rollicking and poetical Brahms trio of James Sommerville, Katherine Winterstein, and Aimee Tsuchiya. Learn more about event and ticket details here>>
