BMS faculty member Tev Stevig presents music from Turkey, the Arab world, Iran, and Afghanistan in this afternoon performance. He will also talk about the history of the music, composers, makam (the system for organizing the modes used in this music), the instruments used in his performance, and will answer questions from audience members about his experience with these fascinating music traditions.

Suggested age for this event is 15+.
*Please Note: masks for all and proof of vaccination (for age 12+) required.

This is a FREE event however you must REGISTER to obtain a ticket for this indoor in-person limited audience.
