Richard Gass is a seasoned real estate and corporate attorney, with more than 40 years of experience counseling owners, developers and investors in a wide variety of complex real estate projects and related business arrangements. His background helps him to understand his
clients’ business goals, acting both as a strategist and counselor. His experiences provides him with perspectives and insights which are of great value to him in working with his clients on joint ventures, difficult acquisitions and dispositions and complex financing arrangements and workouts with lenders. Richard is active in the Boston community and has held many officer, committee and board memberships for a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations and companies. Richard has been on the Board at BMS for over 20 years – since the early 1980′s. He was president of the Board from the late years of Larry Zukoff’s tenure as Director through the first year’s of Valerie Nelson’s – during a significant portion of the 1990′s. Richard played a major role in BMS’ arrangements to obtain its lease at the Kennard House site as well as in the implementation of the lease arrangements and the design and build out of the building renovations. He has been at the center of all of BMS’ space, facilities and building matters throughout this entire period, including the School’s relations with the Town with respect to those matters.
