Suzuki Program 2009-2010
Suzuki instruction is offered for piano, violin and flute, for ages 4 and up. Developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki,
this teaching method
reflects the natural processes of listening and imitation
which children use in learning to speak. Suzuki students are therefore first
taught basic
listening and playing skills before note reading is introduced. The
program requires a deep level of commitment from both students and families.
